My Story
My Scentsy story starts back in the year 2007. I was looking at a local newspaper and found the ad for this new candle company, and me being the person who LOVES candles, was very interested. I emailed my now Director and asked her to send me some information on Scentsy. Received the information and truly liked what I saw! However, lets just go back to my earlier years. I tried several and I mean SEVERAL home based businesses and NONE of them were for me, one was WAY too much wear and tear on me, toting around heavy product, had to prepare items ahead of time, then you got there and had to do more prepare work, pack everything up, then head home, to again finish and clean up your items. Then there was the second one, that one was truly not as bad as the first, but you had a fee that you had to pay yearly and a new line to purchase each year ~ too much $$$. There was another company that well lasted a whole month. I could go on and on with this but I will have to say I will bore you! So as you can see I really really didn’t want to start yet another home based business ...because I am known to fail in this line of work. However, I kept the information handy and looked at it frequently, then in 2008 I decided a year later to call and ask for a new catalog. Received the catalog and looked at it and at that point decided to have a home show. It took me a year to make the decision that I wish I would have done a year earlier! My first year I made Director! It was an exciting year and I can’t wait to see what comes forth in my future. Scentsy has truly changed my life! I became DEBT FREE and made tons of new friends that I would not have ever met! I am truly blessed to have found Scentsy! Don’t make the same mistake I did ~ If you are thinking about starting a home based business ~ NOW is the time to do it ~ don’t wait like I did!
